About Christian pitts

Christian has always had a passion for writing and started at the tender age of 7. She grew up in Sausalito CA, on her family's sail boat from the age of 5 until she left for college. When she was 7, she and her family lived off the coast of Mexico for three years where she learned to speak Spanish. Several years later, Christian would write her autobiography "In The Act of Flight" based on her life growing up on a sail boat.

Christian attended Barnard College in New York, unbeknownst to her of her family history in the area, and graduated with a B.A. in Latin American Studies. It wasn't until she was 25 and attending a family barbecue when her uncle gave her a book about Charles "Lucky" Luciano, which later inspired to write the story of her great grandfather and his role in helping to bring down the great mafia boss.

Christian now lives in Eureka, CA with her husband, two children, a cat, dog, rat, two rabbits and two chickens. When she's not writing, Chris spends her time at her day job as a Registered Veterinary Technician.
